FuelTs.com    TANK CLEANING  by PCA Engineering

It is always recommended to remove water from a tank as soon as possible.  By doing so, you may be able to limit the following Tank Cleaning Procedure to just the first step – Tank Water Removal,  saving on time and costs.

Use FuelTs for underground  tank cleaning and aboveground  tank cleaning.

FuelTs Fuel and Tank Cleaning 4 Step Process works as follows:
Step 1:  Remove the water and  sludge accumulated on the tank bottom.  The majority of the sludge is in the water at the bottom of the tank.  The FuelTs process does not involve removing all of the fuel from the tank, physically cleaning the tank, and then placing the removed fuel back into the tank.  The FuelTs focuses on where the water and sludge is – at the tank bottom.  The majority of the water and sludge is removed directly from the tank bottom and separated out into drums for disposal.  By acting quickly, the following 3 steps may not be necessary.
Step 2:  Biocide the remaining dispersed microbes/sludge mass using a high speed pump scouring the tank walls at the same time.  With the right biocide concentration, the biomass is killed and lying on the tank bottom.
Step 3:  Repeat Step 1, removing the sludge mass from the tank bottom into drums.
Step 4:  Polish the biocide fuel through low micron filters while injecting additives to bring the often off-spec fuel into specification, ready for consumption.

The FuelTs tank cleaning process is quick, efficient, and normally does not require the fueling facility be closed during the proprietary fuel and tank cleaning process.  The tank cleaning unit is self contained, requiring no power or other utilities from the host facility.  It is compact and mobile, reaching tanks in isolated parts of a facility.  Cleaning with biocide treatment cost far less then disposing of all the fuel in a tank and replacing it with fresh fuel.
